Momo has been quiet the last few years – but for the 2017/18 edition of Kilifi New Year’s he will dig deep into his (now digital) record box and make his way down to coast. With ten years of being a selector and MC for a German reggae-dancehall sound collective (when vinyl was still king), he also experimented with everything that transports a proper baseline, sharing the stage with other acts such as Schlachthofbronx, Diplo and David Rodigan. For Kilifi, Momo will go back to his roots and bring his selection of the most crucial Jamaican tunes and artists from the 1980’s to the early 2000’s. Momo is happy to be back on the decks.
